A Bike Ride A Day Keeps The Doctor Away

Hello and welcome to my very last blog post of this unit. Lately in our design class we have been working on designing for other people and understanding that you can’t just do everything for yourself. For this action project we were tasked with designing a bike for a certain persona. For this unit we went to places like working bikes and earth rider. We got to see what they care about when it comes to biking and what it means to them to bike. We also got to speak with Divvy bike which is a very popular public bike sharing business in the Chicago land area. We talked about what they had to take into account when creating for others.
 This action project was the hardest action project yet. We had to work with partners which was very difficult because we both had very different ideas. Also, when your on the spot you can’t really think of any ideas, but this action project was also one of my favorites because I got to actually make a 3D model of what I was trying to explain in words. I got to create things that have never been invented before.
