Proffesing love to Bianca
In the first couple of weeks in our drama class we worked on Shakespeare’s plays. The play that we read was The Taming of the Shrew it was about two girls and one was who everyone wanted because she was obedient and she was always nice. The other daughter Kate she was just the opposite and she spoke her mind so everyone considered a shrew by everyone because speaking up for yourself was considered repulsive for a woman. We also learned about the rhyming patterns and iambic pentameter for Shakespeare sonnets and how to form them. In this AP I have formed my own sonnet about Bianca from one of Shakespeare’s most famous plays The Taming of the Shrew.

All in all this project was good to work on Iambic pentamenater and this project showed that it is very hard to ryhme your words. I think in the future I will start my projects earlier to get a head start.
Why must you break your heart to please others
Thou heart more beautiful than all the rest
Oh sweet Bianca don’t let them smother
For not you without me I am not blessed
Why must you bow down to all of your mates
When there is I who will love you equal
And when the ones who hate try to deflate
I will be there like a movie sequel
“If you wish for him sister here I swear
I'll plead for you myself you shall have him”
You say this but you do not display this
Thou must follow thy heart and reach thy rim
You showed your true colors but in the end
For you sweet girl will always be a trend
